About Me:

Mr. Saffold has worked in the city government, nonprofit, academic, and private sectors. He is an alumni of the University of California at Berkeley and Central Michigan University where he obtained a BA in Psychology and a MA in Recreation Parks and Leisure Administration.

In the past he has served as a Management Consultant, Executive Director, Program Officer, Administrative Services Officer, Sr. Management Analyst and Board Member. Mr. Saffold has extensive experience in the information technology sector and has launched city-wide mobile applications, HR performance suites, open data portals, and both city and nonprofit based websites.

Currently, he serves as the Senior Management Analyst for the City Manager’s Office in Manteca where he is responsible for economic development, business recruitment and retention, and innovation initiatives. He also serves on several countywide boards and committees, including the Delta Sierra Education Alliance and the Innovation Hub San Joaquin, where he is Vice Chair.
