Paul’s background blends over 25 years of professional experience in start-up strategy, strategic planning, angel/VC financing, SBA lending, and equity crowdfunding.Paul’s specialty is working with entrepreneurial ventures to refine their business model, create an investment-driven business plan and prepare an effective funding presentation. He also advises CEOs and founding teams on these common start-up issues: legal entity selection, equity financing structures, financial forecasting and exit strategies.In addition to his role as a Entrepreneur in Residence with the Tech Futures Group. Paul also serves as a Regional Access to Capital Specialist with the Northern California Region of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network. In this capacity he works with small business clients across Northern California seeking angel/VC/SBA or equity crowdfunding.
